The Chief Campus Counsel is part of the Chancellor’s Cabinet, works collaboratively with the Office of the President, and serves as advisor to the Chancellor, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, and other senior campus leaders. This role has responsibility for responding to the wide range of legal, regulatory, policy, and governance issues that may arise on campus, either by providing advice directly or in consultation with other university attorneys, or by engaging the services of outside counsel. This position also serves as an advisor for the systemwide General Counsel regarding campus legal issues and system legal policy.
